Brad Woodworth

Mr. Woodworth is president of the graphic design firm, Woodworth Associates. For over twenty-five years, Woodworth Associates has specialized in the design of environmental graphics, wayfinding and signage programs, exhibits, visual identification programs, and graphics for clients including Bates College, Bowdoin College, Eastgate Yachts, Environmental Dynamics Group, Fort Knox State Historic Site, Gettysburg College, the Liberty Ship Memorial, Maine Women’s Lobby, The Museum at Portland Head Light, Portland Observatory, and Waynflete School.

Mr. Woodworth is a principal in a collaborative joint venture, Renner | Woodworth, a multidisciplinary design firm specializing in exhibition, environmental, and architectural design for clients including the National Park Service, the State of Maine, the Cities of Portland and Biddeford, and many public and private organizations.

Prior to founding Woodworth Associates Mr. Woodworth worked as a graphic designer with Chermayeff and Geismar in New York City.

Mr. Woodworth studied at the Portland School of Art and graduated with a B.F.A. He subsequently received an M.F.A. in Graphic Design from Yale University School of Art. He is a member of the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD).

Mr. Woodworth’s projects have received awards from Boston Society of Architects; American Institute of Architects (AIA), Council for the Advancement and Support of Education (CASE), Maine Chapter of American Institute of Architects (AIA), I.D. Magazine, Natural Resources Defense Council, the Society for Environmental Graphic Design (SEGD), The Waterfront Center in Washington D.C., and have been published in I.D. Magazine, Communication Arts, Identity, The Best in Exhibition Stand, Design: 2, Monuments: America’s History in Art and Memory, and You Are Here: Graphics That Direct, Explain & Entertain.
